Cocktail

Bananarac

The Bananarac is a sophisticated cocktail that combines the herbal notes of La Fée Parisienne absinthe with the warmth of straight rye whiskey and the richness of cognac. The addition of Giffard Banane du Brésil liqueur adds a unique banana flavor, balanced by the sweetness of the Demerara syrup and a hint of spice from Angostura bitters. This cocktail is sure to impress with its complex flavor profile.

Plus ice and your own shaker or glass. The Bartifier cup measures every pour.

Make it with Bartifier

Choose the strength and how many glasses. Each pour shows which sections of the cup to fill; the free app walks you through the same steps.

Strength

Strength changes the base spirits only (vodka, gin, rum, tequila, whiskey, brandy). Everything else stays the same.

Steps for 1 glass, Standard.

  1. Step 1: Add a splash of la fée parisienne absinthe to your shaker. It is less than the smallest section, so add more glasses to measure it in the cup.

  3. Step 3: Fill the highlighted section with cognac, then pour into your shaker.

  4. Step 4: Fill the highlighted section with banane du brésil liqueur, then pour into your shaker.

  5. Step 5: Add a splash of simple syrup to your shaker. It is less than the smallest section, so add more glasses to measure it in the cup.

  6. Step 6: Add 2 dashes of angostura bitters to your shaker.

  7. Step 7: Add ice to your shaker.
