Margarita
Nobody really knows who invented the Margarita, but there are many stories about its origin. One of the oldest revolves around one customer’s alleged allergy to most spirits: their bartender is said to have turned a tequila shot into a cocktail recipe to accommodate them, using its three essential ingredients: tequila, Cointreau or triple sec, and lime.
